FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW:
  1. In a large container add your desired amount of St. Vincent and Grenadines, raw sun-dried Golden Sea Moss. Cover the sea moss with spring water or distilled water. Please assure that the water is covering the sea moss 3-4 times over because the sea moss will expand.
  2. Please allow for the sea moss to rehydrate (stay in water) for six hours, not to exceed more than twelve hours.
  3. Strain the water and thoroughly rinse the sea moss at least four to five times and/or until all of the salt and/ or sand has been removed.
  4. Place your sea moss into the blender of choice (I personally use a Vitamix).
  5. Add distilled or spring water until it reaches at least halfway to the height of the sea moss in the blender.
  6. Blend until moss is smooth, and then store your sea moss gel in an air tight GLASS container in the refrigerator.

RECOMMENDED USAGE:

  • One to four tablespoons, however this can be adjusted based on your desired thickness and goal. Sea Moss Gel can be added to hot or cold foods, please DO NOT cook your gel Sea Moss.

SEA MOSS GEL STORAGE:

  • When placed in an air tight glass container in the refrigerator, your Sea Moss Gel can last between two to three weeks. Also, the gel can be frozen and enjoyed, for no more than six months.
